Inside Saihoryuji Temple, located across from Shotenji Temple in Kamikoshien, you can see cherry blossoms in a rather unusual setting.
Here it is↓

These are cherry blossoms with an atmosphere I’ve never seen before!!
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 3-1-14 Kamikoshien, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

(This was the only photo I had, so hopefully it gives you a rough idea of the location.)
It’s almost right along Route 2.

If you look closely, there’s an elephant too! In Buddhism, a white elephant is considered a “symbol of Buddha,” and it’s a very important animal.

It’s a temple, but the decorations are surprisingly bright and festive!

Apparently, they held a cherry blossom viewing festival on April 2 to mark the first anniversary of its establishment. A casual, open-to-anyone event at a temple is pretty unusual, isn’t it?

Wait, there’s someone who looks familiar!

Ah! It’s the head priest of Shotenji Temple, who performed the ceremony to remove the spirit from the Jizo statue on Tantei! Knight Scoop~~~

The head priest of Saihoryuji Temple is apparently his nephew.

It seems you can go inside and see the cherry blossoms until tomorrow, 4/5(10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Cherry blossom viewing at a temple feels like a rare and mysterious experience you don’t get very often. If you’re nearby, why not check it out! I want to go too~
