Hanshin Nishinomiya will apparently be selling a koinobori-shaped sweet you can eat whole.
Here it is↓

This is an apple pie. It’s said to be about the size of a tissue box. Apparently, it’s packed tight with 300g of Jonathan apples.

The Koi Apple Pie will be sold for just 3 days, from 5/3(Sat) to 5/5(Mon., public holiday), as a limited-time item. One pie is 3,240 yen(tax included).
The moment it comes out of the box, kids are pretty much guaranteed to get super excited. They’ll sell out fast, so try to get there first thing in the morning. They open at 10:00.
Finally
Koinobori are one of those seasonal sights you see around town, probably second only to Christmas trees. Being able to eat one seems like the kind of thing that would really excite a kid’s heart. There used to be these 5-yen chocolates back in the day, and I remember getting ridiculously excited about those too.
