There’s a line forming at “Peko-chan milky Donuts,” Fujiya’s donut specialty shop that opened today at EBISTA Nishinomiya.
(This information was provided by Ankazun.)
Here it is↓

As of 4:20 p.m. Outside the shop. It looks like the line stretches from around the bus stop into the store.

It seems like they’re splitting the line between inside and outside, maybe to avoid crowding inside the store.

The menu looks pretty simple. It’s quietly nice that they have soft-serve ice cream too! I’m pretty sure Baskin-Robbins didn’t have soft-serve!

Is this Peko-chan’s first time arriving in Hanshin Nishinomiya? Was she here before?

According to Nishi2 reader Ponpon:
Line as of 10:40: about 30 people
Opening time: 11:00
They were actually able to make a purchase after 12:00
Situation just before entering
According to staff, about 160 people were lined up
If you received a numbered ticket, you could come back later and still buy a lucky bag
Register setup: only one register
It took about 1 hour to process payments for 30 people
Happy Bag purchase limit: not limited to one per person; multiple purchases were allowed

It looks like the 2,280 yen opening commemorative “Peko-chan milky Donuts Happy Bag” was super popular.
