Standing drinks have started at 噂の八百屋 in Kaguracho, near Sakura Shukugawa Station and just south of National Route 2.

After the greengrocer closes for the day, they apparently open for standing drinks from 5:00 p.m.🍻
It’s called “噂のスタンド日課”. It seems they started on April 4〜

If you go this way, you’ll reach Route 2. It’s around Toriten and Nissan Motor.
If you keep going the other way, you’ll reach the Hanshin elevated tracks.
“噂のスタンド日課” Menu
It looks like a place where you can enjoy drinks with snacks like vegetable kushikatsu and oden〜🍢🍶
Fresh onions, eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, and more vegetables delivered straight from their growing regions are lined up. And the kushikatsu starts at just 100 yen per skewer, which is super reasonable👏
They also have creative dishes like Kobe beef menchi-katsu and Inca no Mezame potatoes with anchovy butter.
The oden menu is all 150 yen!
The garland chrysanthemum oden is especially a bit unusual, and being able to enjoy leafy greens like that feels like something only a vegetable-focused shop could offer. They even have pork belly and enoki skewers, which really gives it that “of course, it’s a greengrocer” feel😄

There’s something called Greengrocer’s Fruit Sour!!
When we asked, we heard it’s a sour made with freshly squeezed fruit sold at the greengrocer, with plenty of large fruit pieces inside too🍊🍓There aren’t many places that squeeze the fruit itself and serve it like this, so it’s a rare find!

There didn’t seem to be many izakaya around this area, so this is probably welcome news. And a greengrocer running a standing bar might be pretty rare even in Nishinomiya!? Both the snacks and drinks make the most of vegetables and fruit in a way only a greengrocer can, so it seems like you’ll be able to enjoy seasonal flavors〜😊If you’re curious, why not check it out〜
