“Kataoka Clinic” in Rokkencho along Mitarashi-dori has changed to “Fukui Orthopedic Clinic.”
(Thanks to Zaki-san and Anzu @ Nishitsu SP for the tip!)
Before ↓
The sign on the right side of the building also said “Kataoka Clinic,” but…
After ↓

Apparently, a new sign reading “Fukui Orthopedic Clinic” was recently put up like this 🙌 It says they will open on Tuesday, May 13.
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 1F Hi-Rose Garden Part 2, 3-8 Rokkencho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
Area around “Fukui Orthopedic Clinic”

The Mitarashi River runs across the street.

If you go this way, you’ll find Uegahara Public Hall, Kansai Super Taisha Store, Royal Home Center, Hirota Shrine, and more.

If you go in the opposite direction, there’s the takoyaki shop “Merikenko”, the recently opened anko and rice flour sweets specialty shop “Rikka”, Co-op Koyoen, and more.

As of 5/8, only the clinic hours section on the shutter still seemed to say Kataoka Clinic.

But no worries! Miraculously, it looks like the closed days are the same 🙌
There are changes to the clinic hours: it looks like morning hours are 9:00-12:00, and afternoon hours are 14:30-18:00. (Morning reception closes at 11:45, afternoon reception closes at 17:45) *Appointments are prioritized

Finally
According to the official website of Kataoka Clinic, which was originally located here, the practice was transferred to Fukui Orthopedics as of March 31. Along with that, the previously offered surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, and dermatology services have ended, and the clinic will now shift to a system focused on orthopedics, rehabilitation, rheumatology, and osteoporosis care. Since the medical departments are changing significantly, please take note if you used to visit this clinic.
*Thank you, Zaki-san and Anzu @ Nishitsu SP, for the information!!
