It looks like they’ve started operating during lunchtime only under the name “3丁目ごはん屋”!
- From 11:00 a.m.: “Gohan-ya”
- From 5:00 p.m.: “Izakaya”
- From 9:00 p.m.: “Bar 2ton”
That’s how their business hours will work🙌
2ton is an izakaya in Koshienguchi that also took part in last summer’s “OTOMO Koshien,” a contest to choose foods that pair well with craft beer.

If you go this way, you’ll reach Koshienguchi Center-gai shopping street.
If you keep going in the opposite direction, the road ends near Kami-Koshien Elementary School.
“3丁目ごはん屋” Menu
The set meal comes with a main dish (choose 1 from 5 options), a small 3-item side dish plate, miso soup, and rice for 950 yen. You can also swap the rice for a small alcoholic drink, so daytime drinking is OK too🍶
Other items are very reasonable too: single-item snacks are 300 yen, and drinks are 500 yen(small size is 300 yen)♪
Final Thoughts
“2ton” has apparently operated in a variety of styles over the years, including a period when they served ramen and gyoza at lunchtime under the name “菜しろ亭”. This time, they’ve renovated into a set-meal style restaurant, and we’re definitely curious to check it out too😋
