The “tonkatsu Katsukichi” in Koshienguchi has reopened.
(Thanks to Usayaken for the tip. We’re using the top image courtesy of Yajikita no Tabetai Hodai!.)

(The photo shows the C set meal that Yajikita had in the past.)
The restaurant had been temporarily closed for a while, but according to Nishitsu reader Usayaken, it has now reopened. It’s also been posted on Tabelog.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 3-10 Koshienguchi, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

The regular closing days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It seems there are also some days when they’re open for lunch only.
According to a notice posted outside the shop:

5/29 (Thu)
11:00〜14:30 Lunch only

That’s the schedule they’ll be following. If you plan to visit from June onward, it’s probably best to check with the shop in advance before going.
Lastly
Founded more than 50 years ago, this tonkatsu restaurant still has a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere, and the husband-and-wife owners give customers a warm welcome. We were a little worried since it had been closed for about two months, so it’s really great to see them back open and doing well. 🤗 It’s a precious long-established shop, so we hope they’ll keep going for many years to come.
*Usayaken, thank you for the information!!
