Food blogger Yajikita had also visited “Izakaya Waraku” for lunch.

Apparently, the Tonkara set meal was a hearty lunch featuring a heaping serving of tonkara, a salad topped with chashu pork, slightly sweet miso soup, and rice.

Finally
“Izakaya Waraku” was loved by Hyogo Medical University students and local residents. It was known for its hearty set meals. With plenty of small side dishes and accompaniments, the restaurant drew many regulars looking for a filling lunch. Since it had been a familiar neighborhood spot for many years with a warm, homey atmosphere, its closure is truly sad news.
