沢田歯科医院, which will open on 8/18(Mon), aims to be a neighborhood dental clinic serving a wide range of ages, from students to seniors. “We want people to feel free to come in first and help solve their everyday dental concerns,” says the clinic director.

The clinic mainly provides general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
※Orthodontics and implant treatment are not currently offered. Patients will be referred to specialized medical institutions as needed.

Even if you’re thinking, “I’m nervous…,” the waiting room gets plenty of sunlight and feels like a place where you can relax.
There are three treatment units, each with a higher partition to help protect privacy. They also have chairs where parents and children can sit together.
They also welcome first visits from pediatric patients, including children who attend nearby Uegahara Elementary School.
“If you feel scared, just raise your hand, okay?” they say gently. Many of the staff also have children around the same age, so they try to create an environment where young patients can feel comfortable coming in.
This is the clinic director, Dr. Takashi Sawada. In fact, his father also runs a dental clinic in Shukugawa, so they’re a real dentist family. Some of you may already know them.
They also have an X-ray examination room.

Lastly
When Shachomi was in elementary school, she was scared of the dentist and used to run away. Then her cavities got worse and reached things like C4💦 These days, being able to see the dentist’s face like this and get a feel for the atmosphere inside the clinic… even though we’re the ones doing this kind of thing, it really makes me think, what a good time we live in.
