The shutters have stayed down at the bagel specialty shop “Bagels!” near Nigawa Station.

We’ve received new information, so we’re reposting this article.

Looking at the store information on the official Bagels! website, the listing for the Nigawa shop has disappeared, along with the previously listed sister shops in Umeda, Aeon Mall Kobe Kita, and Shikoku. (Archived page from that time)
The official website name has now changed from “Bagels!” to “Bagel&Coppe,” and the previous Instagram account is no longer available. Whether there is any connection is unclear. Incidentally, Bagel&Coppe is apparently also available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays at its main store in front of Sanda-Honmachi Station on the Kobe Electric Railway Sanda Line, as well as inside the Yamada Store North Kobe location that opened this year in Kobe’s Kita Ward🥯
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1F Sarara Nigawa South Building, 2-7-1 Nigawa Kita, Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture.

In Closing

After opening in April 2023, it quickly became a much-talked-about shop with lines forming, and Nishi2 also featured it in a food article. We were unable to find any clear official information about the Nigawa shop.
We received information that Bagels! and Bagel&Coppe are separate companies, so we have partially revised the article🙏
Update 8/15
We received the latest information from Yoshipii.

While traveling, they stopped by a roadside station in Tanba.

“Bagels!”?

The male staff member who had worked at the Nigawa store was selling the products, so I asked what happened to the Nigawa store, and he said it closed in February.
It seems that although the shop reopened after a temporary closure last summer due to air-conditioning issues, customer traffic did not recover.
They said that from now on, they will sell products made at the Tanba-Sasayama factory at various pop-up locations.
It sounds like they may be selling at various places around the Tanba area. We’re just glad to hear they’re still around.
※Anzu @ Nishi2 SP, thank you for the information!!
