I heard from an older guy I know that in the old days, it was split into the “kids’ session” from 19:00 to 21:00 and the “adults’ session” from 21:00 to 24:00, and people apparently danced until the date changed!In this heat, dancing until midnight would be tough, but this “Shako Odori” that has continued since the Edo period is definitely fun once you can dance it!Why not give it a try next year?
