The telephone is gone from the public phone booth near Shamae Police Box along Sakagura-dori Street.

This time, we received a request, or rather a tip, from “Kiharu Sanjuro.”
The telephone is missing from the phone booth near the intersection in front of Shamae Police Box. Does this kind of thing even happen?
We received the tip from Kiharu Sanjuro on October 4. And sure enough, it’s gone.

This was around May this year. There was a green public telephone there.
We went to check as of October 20
This is Shamae Police Box. This photo was taken quite a while ago, so it may look pretty different now
From the road where Shamae Police Box and Lawson are, we turn onto Sakagura-dori Street and head toward Koshien.
And there it is right away. The phone booth in question.
Is it there?
The phone is goooone.
Tried making an imaginary public phone call. Sad.
So this is what it looks like when a public telephone disappears.
Normally, the telephone would be attached to this hole. I think wiring and things used to go through the hole
Maybe it’s been about one summer since the phone disappeared. Quite a few spider webs. Lots of moths or something. No spider owner in sight
This public phone number marks this location as No. 27. It says “in front of Ozeki Sake Brewery.”

A phone booth. Once the phone is gone, it’s just a booth.
