Making and eating breakfast together in the morning, playing table tennis, doing exercises. Students from Kwansei Gakuin University have started a morning activity group.

The Nishinomiya Morning Activity Club seems to have started in July 2024, led by five third-year students from Professor Ooka’s seminar in the School of Sociology at Kwansei Gakuin University. They say they’re doing it with the hope of gently helping university students living alone ease feelings of loneliness and get their daily rhythm back on track.

Their regular morning activities take place at “Co-op no Tsudoiba CO-KO”, next to Co-op Kobe Kotoen. They get together at 9:00 a.m. on the third Friday of every month to make and eat breakfast together.
