Final Thoughts
January 17 is the day the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake occurred. As more and more people today have no firsthand memory of the disaster, events like this, where participants can learn about disaster preparedness through hands-on activities, seem likely to help people take action when it really matters. Many of the activities can be enjoyed like games, so it also looks like a good opportunity to think about disaster preparedness together with your children. If you’re interested, why not stop by?
