Unfortunately, it turned out to be a baumkuchen with no connection to Nishinomiya Shrine in Nishinomiya.
Apparently, there was a simple explanation saying something like Ebisu-sama is a famous god “in Kansai.”
Even though Nishinomiya Shrine is the head shrine of the roughly 3,500 Ebisu shrines across Japan…（It seems the reader felt frustrated about that too）
