Here’s how Nishinomiya Shrine’s Toka Ebisu looked from National Route 43 today, January 9.
Around 8:30 a.m.
A truck was parked in front of Enmanji Temple(Nishinomiya Naritasan), and it looked like they were preparing something.

By the way, this area is where the lottery for the Fukuotoko race is held.If you want to take part, you might be able to line up here from around 8 p.m.

There’s an IQOS area. There’s also a smoking corner.

There are tents inside the shrine grounds too.

Clothes were laid out on the roof, and the food stalls seemed busy getting ready.

The South Gate. Basically, you can’t enter from here. The route starts from the Akamon Gate.Food stall notes: ikayaki grilled squid, salted beef tongue steak, baby castella, takoyaki, karaage, frankfurters

As you can see, lots of food stalls are lined up even on the Route 43 side.

This is Ebessan-suji Street.Food stall notes: hashimaki, baby castella

Maybe this is near the front of the Akamon Gate. Even though it was only around 8:30 in the morning, this many people had already come.

Does it already look like people are lining up?!
Around 9:30 a.m.

Here’s Fudaba-suji Line. Northbound traffic is pretty congested.

From 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. between the 9th and 11th, cars cannot enter Ebessan-suji Street. It’s set up like this so you can’t turn right.

Across the street, where Yakiniku Katchan is, the parking lot by Japan was full.

Like this.

A whopping 2,000 yen per hour! Since it’s a special date.
Around 12:30 p.m.

This is the official live stream from Nishinomiya Shrine. Since it’s still this time of day, it’s relatively uncrowded. Watch the live stream here
Right at 4:00 p.m.

At 4:00 p.m., it looks pretty similar to 12:30. It’ll probably start getting crowded from around 6:00 p.m.
That’s all from the scene.
