It looks like the “2026 Nishinomiya Western Confectionery Garden Party Can Sale” was held on Wednesday, January 14, at MUJI inside Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.

The venue was here↓
The address is 3F Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens, 14-2 Takamatsu-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
This event featured 14 confectionery shops in the city, each packing their signature sweets into cans for sale.
They were 3,000 yen each, sold in three time slots. Each slot had 100 cans, making a total of 300 cans.
Which shop’s can you could buy was decided by lottery. The excitement was real💕
Here are the participating shops↓
- Pâtissier Eiji Nitta
- Seihoku Kashi Kobo Chez Inoue
- Patisserie Atelier Take
- Patisserie La Vanille
- Elberun
- Rivero
- Wright Yogashiten
- Patisserie au Japon Giverny
- Cake House Tsumagari
- Patisserie Cocoro
- Versa Yogashi Kobo
- Patisserie Bern
- Patisserie Noppo
- Parterre
Anzu tried her luck during the second sales slot and apparently won a can from Parterre.

The can comes inside an original tote bag. It looks simple and easy to use.

The can is super cute! It has Ebessan riding this year’s zodiac animal, the horse, drawn on it. Looks like it’ll bring good luck.
On top of that, it comes with three kinds of MUJI original drip coffee. That alone completes tea time☕🍰

Here’s what was inside.
You can see a bear-shaped madeleine and financier, plus a white cookie (?) too. They’re almost too cute to eat~~~.
Actually, the Nishinomiya Western Confectionery Garden Party Can was being sold for the first time in two years. When we checked whether they were still available, we were told they had already sold out. Too bad!
Come to think of it, until around 2019 there used to be an event called the “Nishinomiya Western Confectionery Garden Party.” You could enjoy sweets from various pâtissiers at a hotel, either buffet-style or as a course. Hope it comes back someday.
Finally
I’m sure plenty of people wanted the sweets, of course, but also the can packed with Nishinomiya charm. There are lots of ways to enjoy them, like collecting cans for all 12 zodiac animals or just getting the one for your own zodiac sign. Hopefully it’ll be held again next year.
Thank you, Anzu @ Nishitsu SP, for the information!!
