I looked into what a children’s cafeteria actually is
Some of you may be wondering, “What exactly is a children’s cafeteria?” so I looked into it a little. In short, it’s a place where children can eat meals for free or at a low cost, and spend time safely with people from the community.
The image Shachomi had in mind was:
- Poverty support
- For children who can’t get enough to eat
But it seems that in reality, these kinds of situations are also common〜
- Families where both parents work and come home late
- Children whose parents are busy and who don’t have many people to talk to
- Children who don’t have a “just-right place to be” outside of home or school
So a children’s cafeteria may play a role not only for children, but also in supporting parents and the people around them as a whole.
