The movie “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya,” now showing at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens, has been selling out day after day.
Everything is completely blacked out.

This is what it looked like just 3 minutes after tickets went on sale.
The merchandise area was full of sold-out items.
Actually, since February 6, the film “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya,” set in Nishinomiya, has been getting a revival screening nationwide, drawing fans from all over Japan. (Limited to two weeks)
There’s also a stylish little touch at “TOHO Cinemas Nishinomiya OS” in Nishinomiya Gardens.
On February 7, there was also a “stage greeting” by the five members of the SOS Brigade, and the person who came from the farthest south was, amazingly, from Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture.
There’s also a movie announcement poster at the Welcome Garden entrance/exit.
Finally
The first day, February 6, and Sunday, February 8, were also fully booked. Even though this is a Nishinomiya-based work, it’s rare for it to be screened at Nishinomiya Gardens, so definitely take this chance to check it out. You won’t regret watching it. Seriously.
