The “One-Hand BENTO”, a future-style bento you can eat with one hand that got attention at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion during the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, is apparently coming to Nihonsakari’s Kurabiraki event.

The address is 4-57 Yokai-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
What is “One-Hand BENTO”?
“One-Hand BENTO” was originally developed by Hokka Hokka Tei as an Expo venue-exclusive food item. Apparently, this Kurabiraki event will be the first chance to eat it in 2026. Nishinomiya is amazing!
Its easy-to-eat-while-walking style has been popular, and during the Expo it reportedly surpassed a total of 220,000 servings sold.
These four varieties are planned for sale↓
- One-Hand BENTO Nori Bento
- One-Hand BENTO Chicken Nanban
- One-Hand BENTO Wagyu
- One-Hand BENTO Lotus Root
This is the “One-Hand BENTO Nori Bento.” It will be sold at a special event-only price of 400 yen. Apparently, it’s seasoned so that when you bite into it, it properly tastes like a nori bento. The rice used is sixteen-grain rice. If you want to watch a product review video, see → here

The event will be held on Saturday, February 28, 11:00–16:00.
Paid tasting tickets will be sold until 15:30.
The venue is Sakegura Dori Rengakan and the grounds of the Nihonsakari head office factory. The entrance is on the factory side
Of course, there will also be plenty to enjoy, including paid sake tastings, lucky bags and lucky boxes, food stalls, brewery tours, stage events, and more, so be sure to check those out too🍶
