In 2026, “大市太鼓台” is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its revival👏👏 To mark the occasion, it will make its way through the streets of the Oichi and Hinokuchi area.
This time, it looks like danjiri from 公智神社 名来だんじり保存会, 西宮神社 若戎会, and 福應神社 若福会 will also be taking part.
April 18 (Sat)
The Oichi Taikodai, which marks its 10th anniversary since revival this year, will be pulled through town in a powerful parade event. It will make a full circuit around the city from morning through evening.
It should be an impressive sight, with four floats gathered together: the Taikodai (Kami-Oichi), Jiguruma/Danjiri (Nishinomiya Shrine Wakaebisu-kai), Kakidanjiri (Narai), and Fune Danjiri (Wakafuku-kai)🔥 There will also be performances on Saigoku Kaido.

Since it’s the 10th anniversary of the revival, this parade event seems like it will have a lot of energy behind it. Chances to see the taikodai and various danjiri all at once are pretty rare, the last one being last year’s 100th anniversary city parade, so it should be well worth watching.
