The Process Is Super Easy
Renting from Carnori Rent-a-Car is simple. Just add the Carnori Rent-a-Car Takarazuka shop on LINE. You can also do it by phone.
Enter the required information, such as your name, age, and phone number. The price varies depending on the vehicle class you want.
Go into the shop through the door marked “Entrance”,
fill out the usual details like your name, address, and phone number,
and just show your driver’s license and health insurance card. The paperwork takes less than 30 minutes or so.
Before leaving, you’ll check the car for scratches together with the staff. It’s also a good idea to take your own photos, just in case.
They’ll carefully show you where the gas cap is and where the ETC unit is too.
You can rent one from 8,000 yen for one week（tax not included, A Class）.

By the way, kei cars are extremely popular at the Takarazuka shop, and apparently A Class and B Class cars get booked up quickly. A lot of people rent while waiting for their own car to be delivered, too.
They also offer something called damage waiver coverage. If you add it, it helps reduce what you’d have to pay out of pocket in the unlikely event something happens. Apparently 80 to 90% of customers choose it, so it’s recommended.
The Staff Are Really Nice
The Takarazuka shop is run by two staff members who are friends and apparently started working at Carnori together.
They’re both cheerful and very polite with customers. They explain everything about the car clearly too, so you can feel at ease.
There’s a Bakery Nearby That the Staff Strongly Recommend
During the interview, we asked the staff, “Is there anywhere around here you recommend?” and both of them answered immediately with this place.

It’s just a quick drive from Carnori’s Takarazuka shop. They have parking too.
Le Croissant is actually a chain with several locations in Osaka and Kobe, but apparently the Takarazuka shop is the staff’s favorite.
We Went Inside
The first thing we thought when we walked in was:
The bread is huge!!
Everything is generally big. And it’s really cheap. There are lots of items in the 200-yen range. At this size and price, it’s honestly surprising.
Their signature item seems to be a croissant called Petit Cro, and apparently they’ve sold over 10,000 of them!
The baking times are posted, but by 3 p.m., almost everything was already sold out. That’s some serious popularity.
