It looks like Yamada Store Nishinomiya is reaching its limit and will temporarily close.

They’ve hit their physical limit🥲
So, to get their operations back in shape, they will be temporarily closed for two days, April 21 (Tue) and 22 (Wed).

Since opening, it seems they’ve been getting far more customers than expected. On the first day, sales apparently topped 40 million yen. That was the highest ever in Yamada Store history😳

Apparently, not only cars but also a huge number of customers have been coming by bicycle,

- No matter how many pizzas they bake, they disappear
- No matter how much sushi they make, it sells out
- Even when they place orders, they can’t keep up with demand for their original products
It sounds like things have gotten pretty intense.

On top of that, traffic jams and illegal parking have reportedly been affecting the neighborhood, so they’ll also be working on improvements in that area.
Finally

When I went on a weekday evening at the end of March, it was raining, so it wasn’t that crowded and I was able to shop normally. Still, especially on weekends, it seems like the store is probably still very busy. I’m sure there are many people who haven’t gone yet and are waiting to see how things settle down, so it would be nice if the setup improves and shopping there becomes easier.
