Since it’s right in front of the new hospital, traffic will probably increase, so that may be why they added traffic lights.

By the way, while the work was still underway, the traffic lights were of course not turned on.

They’re the latest thin-style traffic lights.

It looks like the new intersection improvement work itself will continue until 6/30.
By the way, this spot
was originally where the Asahi Beer Nishinomiya Factory stood.
It operated for about 85 years from 1927, but closed in August 2012.
With the redevelopment of that former site, the current Royal Home Center and Nishinomiya General Medical Center were built.
The Nishinomiya streetscape will probably keep changing from here on too. Nishitsu will keep following those changes〜
