“The 10th Nishinomiya Nanairo Music Letter” will be held on February 23.

Nine amateur wind bands active in Nishinomiya will each show off their own unique style!

・上甲ウィンドシンフォニー(A wind band mainly made up of graduates of the Kamikoshien Junior High School wind ensemble club)
・ベルカントウィンドオーケストラ(A band based in Nishinomiya that aims to bring together a wide range of ages, from students to seniors)
・Poco a Poco Wind Ensemble(An amateur wind ensemble formed in 1996 and mainly active in Nishinomiya)
・カプリチオ吹奏楽団(A band with a wide range of ages, enjoying music with free-spirited ideas)
・西宮フィルハーモニーバンド(A wind band active in Nishinomiya)
・ウインドオーケストラ今津(An amateur wind band based in Nishinomiya, joyfully and sometimes seriously working on music under the wish to “share better music with more people!!”)
・県立西宮高等学校OB吹奏楽団(They resumed activities in 2010 for the first time in 12 years and perform at events such as the Nishinomiya Wind Band Federation Regular Concert and New Year Concert.)
・サウスウィンド吹奏楽団(A wind band formed in 1992 mainly by alumni of the Nishinomiya Minami High School wind ensemble club, based in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.)
・甲東ヌーヴェルヴァーグ・ウィンドオーケストラ(Formed in 2008. A wind band based in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.)

In Closing
I’m not very knowledgeable about music, but seeing how actively each of these bands performs really sparked my interest.
