We Checked Out LANKA the Mysterious Shop Near JR Sakura Shukugawa Station

and were on their way back from a food interview when they passed by a place with such a stylish exterior that they wondered, “What kind of shop is this?” So we went to check out the intriguing shop, “LANKA.”

What Kind of Shop Is “LANKA”?

This was the second time the two of us had passed by “LANKA.” It was closed the first time, so our curiosity had doubled, and this time we decided to go in(^O^)／

But we got the entrance wrong and somehow ended up going in through the back door(^_^;)

“Hellooo.” “That’s actually the back entrance, but please come in with your shoes on.” “Sorryyy^^; Excuse us!” That was the kind of exchange we had, and they kindly welcomed us in.

And it looked lovely when entering from the proper entrance too..

The owner told us, “We hold sewing lessons here,” and gave us an information leaflet.

Inside the shop, there were lots of fabrics, ribbons, buttons, and more that you probably wouldn’t come across at a craft store in a shopping mall(*^^)v

There’s no way we could introduce everything here^_^;

The way it sparks your creativity might be because the craft materials come from all over the world…. They’re truly beautiful and absolutely captivating～(#^.^#)

“LANKA” is a craft materials shop with an attached sewing studio!

With light coming in through the large windows, it looks like such a pleasant space(^^♪

The area around the sewing machines looked easy to use too! (The pins were attached to a magnet, and the bobbins were adorably stored on the wall.. We were a little impressed!)

Finally

There was a time when I had handicrafts and dressmaking as a bit of a hobby, so this shop really stirred up my creativity and made me want to make something(*^^)v

The fabrics and buttons were all lovely, and I got the feeling the owner must have carefully selected every single item🌟

If you want to try making things but don’t know how..
If you don’t have a sewing machine…
If you feel unsure doing it alone…　　They apparently offer private lessons in small groups, so it might be a good chance to give it a try💓
