The highest observation deck in Nishinomiya is the Higashi-Rokko Observatory, located along the Ashiu Driveway, a toll road connecting Ashiya and Arima!(^^)!
I always thought this place was in Ashiya! But if you look closely at the map, it’s actually Nishinomiya~
Here’s the map↓
The address is 1-68 Koshimizu Shakeyama, Nishinomiya City It’s truly, officially in Nishinomiya City(*^^)v

Its official name is Setonaikai National Park, Higashi-Rokko Observatory(*^^)v Its elevation is 654 meters!!
How high is that? Take a look↓

You can see Mount Kabuto looking tiny like this.
Here’s a slightly zoomed-in explanation.

You can clearly make out the Muko River and the Shinkansen tracks(*^^)v

This is what the Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi area looks like when you zoom in.

You can even spot Kyocera Dome and Abeno Harukas far off in the distance~
It was a little hazy that day, but you can also see the mountains of Ikoma in Nara and, across Osaka Bay, the mountain ranges of Wakayama Prefecture!
It really makes you want to brag a little that this place is actually in Nishinomiya!(^^)!

Once the stay-at-home restrictions are lifted, we’d love to enjoy this amazing view(*^^)v
