At Additive-free “Seizaemon” in Koshien Gobancho along the old national highway,
I bought some incredibly delicious onigiri (^^♪
Onigiri from “Seizaemon”

This time I bought salmon \238 (tax included), chirimen ¥238 (tax included), and bean rice ¥270 (tax included).
They were just unbelievably delicious!!
So good it was shocking!
So good I couldn’t even find the words to describe them!(^^)!
Boss!!! The o-ni-gi-ri from “Seizaemon” were seriously amazing!
The rice, the saltiness… everything tasted like something I’d never had before. They were just so good!
They were just soooo delicious~~~~~~~(^^)
After I kept going on and on, saying nothing more specific than “They’re delicious,”
If you tell me that, now I want to try them!
So, answering the request of our boss, who is usually pretty indifferent when it comes to food topics,
Okay, I’ll go buy some~(*^^)v
That day, I arrived at the shop a little after 4:00… and there were only two onigiri left. Bean rice and turnip greens, ¥270 (tax included) I forgot to take a photo (~_~;)
Munch munch, munch munch… the rice is different! This is good~(^^♪
Please describe how good they are!
It’s like in old folk tales when someone eats rice balls going, “So good, so good!” It’s that same feeling, like tasting a plain white rice onigiri for the very first time and being moved by it!
And that was a wonderfully easy-to-understand review!(^^)!
The Secret Behind the Deliciousness of “Seizaemon” Onigiri

The rice is grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and all the fillings are completely additive-free and genuine!
Since the shop name even includes “additive-free and genuine,” that makes sense (*^^)v
Their careful attention to every ingredient and every step of preparation is the secret to how good these are!
Types of Onigiri at “Seizaemon”

Ahhh, they all look so good.
I want to try every single one (#^.^#)

To put my speechless reaction into words again, the flavor of the rice really stands out, even among all the rice I’ve eaten before.
Since they’re onigiri, the rice is cold… but it makes you wonder what it would taste like freshly cooked (^^)
Each grain is large, and the rice still has the germ attached (the part that makes the rice look slightly brownish. It’s packed with nutrients!), so you can really feel each grain more clearly than with the rice we’re used to eating!
And then there’s that hard-to-describe level of saltiness… it tasted like real salt, with no additives.
Salmon, chirimen… every filling paired perfectly with the rice!(^^)!

In Closing
I had passed by the shop many times, but before, the noren curtain was navy blue, the storefront looked even more stately than it does now, and it said “tsukudani,” so it felt a little hard to go in ^^;
Now it has a fresh white noren! And the friendly word “onigiri” on it (^^♪
The owner is great at conversation and has a wonderful smile. She has a special, clear dedication to the ingredients used in everything made at the shop, giving her the feel of a true “okami” proprietress (*^^)v
To be honest, I had underestimated onigiri… but these made me realize just how delicious they can be when the ingredients are carefully chosen!
I find myself thinking every day, “I want to eat them again!”
Apparently, they even have frozen onigiri for gifts!(^^)!
The onigiri are individually wrapped for peace of mind, and you can heat them in the microwave just as they are.
Why not try onigiri made without additives, with the natural flavors shining through? (#^.^#)
Onigiri sales seem to start around 10:30 a.m.
They’re handmade, so once they sell out, that’s itー(^O^)/
