I heard there was a baumkuchen in Koshien so delicious it could hold its own against anywhere,
so I went to “K-B Kaiser” and bought some authentic German-style baumkuchen (*^^)v
Baumkuchen from “K-B Kaiser”

What I bought this time was the simply packaged home-use version, ¥2200 (tax included)But it was still nicely presented enough to give to a close friend.
They leave out things like gift wrapping paper, ribbons, packaging, wrapping, and paper gift bags, so you can enjoy the same delicious baumkuchen at a slightly easier-to-buy price (*^^)v

The box size was 16 cm × 16 cm × 5 cm (^^)

The moment I opened it, a gentle sweet aroma came out…(*^^)vThe scent of happiness~
It’s not the fluffy type; it’s a firm, satisfyingly dense baumkuchen !(^^)!

I cut it so you can see the “tree rings” of the baumkuchen! Apparently this is the German way to cut it… Since the cut surface is larger, it feels like you can enjoy the aroma even more (^^)
The baumkuchen from “K-B Kaiser” has fine, firm layers, a wonderful aroma, and it’s truly delicious!!!!!
I can’t believe Nishinomiya had a baumkuchen shop this good!
It’s so delicious that not knowing about it might make me unqualified as a true Miyakko local… (*^^)v

It’ll make you even more excited to shop there!
The staff are all kind and refreshingly pleasant too.
As a baumkuchen lover, I also love Juchheim, which baked Japan’s first baumkuchen,
but as of today, “K-B Kaiser” has joined my list of favorites too (#^.^#)
I have to tell my friends who don’t know about it yet!!
If you’ve never tried it, you definitely should!! Oh, and they also sold fresh cakes and cookies tooーI’m absolutely buying those next time!!
