We heard that the 　Yokai Amabie-sama, made as a prayer for the end of the novel coronavirus, is apparently at “菓一條 栄久堂吉宗” in Shukugawa, so we went right away to buy Yokai Amabie-sama～

For a yokai, it’s super cute😁

Here’s what it looks like inside. It’s made with joyo nerikiri and smooth red bean paste.

With hopes for the novel coronavirus to come to an end, we enjoyed Amabie-sama～

It looks like the rainy season’s damp, muggy days are going to continue, but eating these refreshing hydrangea sweets while drinking cold tea should help lift our spirits, even if just a little～
