At the waffle cake shop “R.L (R.L)” on the 1st floor of Nishinomiya Hankyu, I always thought it was pronounced “Aru Eru” ^^; Turns out the French-style reading is “Eru Eru”,
I bought the Hankyu Railway collaboration“Korokoro Cube” ヽ(^o^)丿
R.L’s “Hankyu Railway Korokoro Cube”

The package was a Hankyu limited express train (^^)So cute 💖
It’s a set of three: Kobe-Sannomiya (chocolate), Osaka-Umeda (plain), and Kyoto-Kawaramachi (maple), for ¥972 including tax ↓

Here’s what’s inside! They’re about 3 cm square (*^^)v
They have a crispy texture, kind of like waffles turned into cookies.
There are about 10 pieces in each box. They’re bite-sized and easy to eat.
All of them have a gentle flavor, so you could just keep eating them!!

The three-piece set comes in train packaging, so little kids can even play with it after eating!!

Final Thoughts
I went looking for a Nishinomiya-exclusive item, but when I thought about it, it seems like these are sold in Kobe, Osaka, and even Kyoto too Sorry (^_^;) I just assumed Hankyu Railway meant it was a Nishinomiya thing…
But R.L did have its headquarters in Sanjocho, Nishinomiya from 2005 to 2011!! That makes me feel a bit closer to them, though they’re based in Kobe now!
When I saw this product, I immediately thought of my Hankyu Railway-loving friend, so I’m going to give it as a gift when they come back home (*^^)v
Their fresh waffle cakes are delicious too, but I also recommend these since they keep longer ヽ(^o^)丿
