A long-time student-friendly spot, Okonomiyaki House “道” (^O^)／
I suddenly got nostalgic for the flavor I used to eat all the time back in my student days, so I stopped by despite the intense heat.
Starting August 4, a sign said, “As a coronavirus precaution, we are operating as a takeout-only shop.”
It was written in incredibly beautiful handwriting!
It has already been over 40 years since Okonomiyaki House “道” opened…
Mood-wise, it felt like this! This photo was taken on August 2!
The okonomiyaki at “道” is all about
the cheerful “Welcome!” from the lady who runs the place,
and her bright voice saying, “What shall I grill for you today?” Her wonderful smile is part of the feast, too.
I really hope the coronavirus situation settles down soon ^^;
