I had some errands in Takarazuka, so I was driving straight up Nakatsuhama Line like usual when,
I spotted this sign while waiting at a traffic light \(^o^)/
I couldn’t take a photo at the intersection, so this is one I found a little farther away

There it was, clear as day: Nishinomiya \(^o^)/

So this was Nishinomiya Kaido….
According to the Takarazuka City Hall website,
“This road runs from Nishinomiya through Kamioichi and Obayashi, crosses the Muko River, and reaches Kohama. It is also known by the alternate name ‘Uma Kaido’ (Horse Road).
It was a road used to transport rice and sake for brewing.”
That’s what it says.

There were several signs around this area !(^^)!
I wonder if people who live in Takarazuka mention “Nishinomiya Kaido” in everyday conversation? If so, that would make me kind of happy \(^o^)/
If you spot any Nishinomiya points, we’re waiting for your tips!
