While out reporting, I noticed a notice stuck on a mailbox, so I took a photo ＼(^o^)／
Apparently it doesn’t seem to be a notice about New Year’s cards ^^;
It says that during the period from 令和12月1日(火)～令和2年12月31日(木), mail collected from post boxes within the Nishinomiya-Higashi Post Office area will receive an “Amagasaki Post Office” postmark ＼(^o^)／
Here’s where the post box was↓
The address is 〒663-8184 兵庫県西宮市鳴尾町４丁目１３−１２ レジデンス甲子園前
Since that made us curious about the reason,
we contacted Nishinomiya-Higashi Post Office, and they told us: “Because the volume of New Year’s cards increases in December and Nishinomiya-Higashi Post Office can no longer handle everything, we ask Amagasaki Post Office to collect the mail instead of Nishinomiya-Higashi Post Office, so the postmark will also be Amagasaki.”
The notice says there will be no changes to delivery times or collection times, so it doesn’t seem like it will cause any inconvenience (*^^)v
Just be careful if you’re in a position where the postmark is important, like in a suspense or detective drama ^^;
