A new Co-op store is currently under construction on the former site of Sushiro Nishinomiya Higashimachi, and it looks like it’s scheduled to open in June, with the 3rd floor becoming a clinic floor.
The clinic floor seems to be opening in September.
(The 1st floor will be parking, and the 2nd floor will be Co-op.)

There are eight tenant spaces, labeled A through H, that appear to be for clinics and a dispensing pharmacy.
Five of them have already been decided, and they currently seem to be recruiting for an ENT clinic, pediatrics, and gynecology.

*“Kaimon Ikocar” is a service that transports local elderly residents from their homes to the store.

Scheduled Closing Dates for Nearby Co-op Stores
Due to delays in construction of the new store caused by the coronavirus, the closing of “Co-op Koroen,” originally scheduled for March 4, has been postponed to around May.
“Co-op Nishinomiya Minami” is also scheduled to close around May to June.
It sounds like an announcement will be made once the details are finalized, so we’ll wait for that!

The new store’s name is tentatively listed as either “Co-op Nishinomiya Minami” or “Co-op Nishinomiya Higashimachi,” but since there’s also a “Co-op Nishinomiya Higashi” in Komatsucho, I wonder what it will end up being called〜🤔
For people living near the stores that are closing, it will be a little farther away, but with the clinic floor and “Kaimon Ikocar,” the new Co-op looks like it’ll be convenient!
