I went to pay my respects again this year at the Yakujin-san festival on January 18 and 19 (^^)

Usually there are big crowds and traffic restrictions,
but this year, although there were security guards, things felt pretty relaxed!
The food stalls last year. It was lively, wasn’t it? (^^)
This year it looked like this… It’s hard to believe it’s the same street (-_-;)
COVID-19 precautions were in place, and people receiving special prayers had their temperature checked.
The shrine grounds were uncrowded, so you could take your time paying your respects (*^^)v
Everything went smoothly, from drawing omikuji fortunes and receiving amulets to having goma fire rituals performed and heading home.
Hopefully next year the festival will be lively again, with lots of stalls lined up ^^;
