In the “Best Places to Live Along Train Lines 2020” ranking, the Hankyu Koyo Line and Hankyu Imazu Line took the top two spots again, just like last year.
Last year, Nishinomiya lines dominated the top three, but the Subway Tanimachi Line (Tenjimbashisuji Rokuchome to Fuminosato), which ranked first for transportation convenience and friendliness, came in third this year.
Analysis Results for the Koyo Line and Imazu Line
Quoted from PowerPoint Presentation
The image people have of the Hankyu Koyo Line is overwhelmingly higher than other lines!! I’m curious what kind of image people have of it〜
The day the Imazu Line takes first place may not be far off…

Finally
I tried looking for what the ranked train lines have in common, and found that most of them “allow transfers”. On the Koyo Line, you can transfer at Shukugawa, and on the Imazu Line, at Imazu and Nishinomiya-kitaguchi. Every line in the top five has a transfer point. It also feels even more convenient when you can switch to another line without leaving the ticket gates.
