“Nishinomiya-Higashiguchi Station” was discontinued after Nishinomiya Station as a whole was moved east due to the elevated railway construction between Kusugawa and Kōroen.
Nishinomiya Station effectively absorbed the function of Nishinomiya-Higashiguchi Station, leading to its closure.
This is around where “Nishinomiya-Higashiguchi Station” used to be.

Today, the site of the former station is a small children’s park.
