“Za Watami,” which was located just outside Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station on the park side, closed on February 28.
This article is brought to you by “GenkiStyle,” a foot treatment clinic that supports Nishitsu.

Here’s the notice↓It’s hanging down and looks so sad(;_;)

Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1-4-111 Kofuen, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around “Za Watami”

This is what it looks like across the street. The road in front is a northbound one-way street with lots of cars and pedestrians.

If you go this way, next door is the izakaya “Fujiya Honten”. Keep going for a while and you’ll pass in front of “Kohiiya Yume (Dream),” which appeared as a setting in “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”, heading toward Mondo-Yakujin.

If you go this way, you’ll reach Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station. At the park in front of the station, bicycles have been getting swallowed up.
In Closing
Apparently, the restaurant had remained closed ever since COVID-related restrictions began, and has now closed for good. (A Nishitsu reader on Facebook let us know in the comments.)
We hope the lively street lined with izakayas gets its energy back soon.
