At “Kanmikoyori” on the 3rd floor of Gardens,
we had a lunch focused on ichiju-sansai, then enjoyed just a little sweetness afterward (^O^)／
What we ate at “Kanmikoyori”
New Onion Steak and Tofu Hamburg Steak with Butter Soy Sauce ￥1,100 (tax included)
Fried Chicken and Vegetables with Black Vinegar Sauce ￥1,140 (tax included)
The salad dressing had a lightly sweet corn flavor (^O^)／
The okara in the back had a yuzu flavor and veggies mixed in, giving it a nice healthy feel!
There was miso soup with plenty of fried tofu,
and the rice with mixed grains came with furikake containing greens and small dried fish (^O^)／
It also came with a pre-meal vinegar drink instead of an aperitif.
The main dish, New Onion Steak and Tofu Hamburg Steak with Butter Soy Sauce,
had a gentle seasoning, and the sweetness of the onion was outstanding! There was miso in the center, which made for a nice accent.
Here’s what the hamburg steak looked like inside. It was soft and had a nice texture (^ ^) It also went perfectly with the butter soy sauce!
The main dish, Fried Chicken and Vegetables with Black Vinegar Sauce,
came with plenty of vegetables like lotus root and carrots! The tartness of the black vinegar was on the mild side (^ ^)
Koyori’s Half Dorayaki and a drink can be added as a lunch set for ￥420 (tax included).
It’s served in a style where you can freely top the freshly grilled, fluffy batter that totally changes your idea of dorayaki with whipped cream and anko (^O^)／
It really was fluffy and warm! I wanted more than just a half portion (*^_^*)
A drink-only set or half-sweets-only set is ￥210 (tax included).It was a shame that the matcha chiffon I ordered was sold out that day.
The green tea had a light sweetness (^O^)／
