This is it. Let’s get closer.

Here it is. The black ones. Manganese batteries.
Even on Yodobashi’s online shop, AA manganese batteries are 280 yen, so at 240 yen these are cheap! Evolta D batteries are 480 yen at Yodobashi, so 400 yen is also definitely cheap.

Long ago, they used to sell the red ones too, didn’t they? It says National on them—so nostalgic. Apparently the red ones have been discontinued
Here’s the location on the map↓
The address is 2-8 Koshien Rokubancho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

The shop with the vending machine is the Panasonic shop “MikiDenki.”

Across the street is Hinode Sushi. Diagonally across is “Super Hair Seo”, which Nishitsu visited before.

If you suddenly realize, “Oh no, I’m out of batteries!” neighbors, keep this place in mind. By the way, manganese batteries are apparently recommended for things like remote controls, clocks, and kitchen timers.
