Now, this year’s Jugoya moon (September 17) actually wasn’t a full moon. The full moon was the next day, September 18. Jugoya and the full moon often don’t line up, and it looks like next year (2025) the full moon will again be the following day～

The next time Jugoya and the full moon line up perfectly will be in 2030. That’s the year when the Central Library moves to Hanshin Nishinomiya. Looks like we’ll be able to enjoy a full-moon Jugoya then～
