There’s an antiques and café shop called “Ｋｉｃａ” in Kurakuen-guchi.
I had a meal inside the shop once before, and I really loved the atmosphere.
Now that they’ve started offering takeout, I went over right away to see what kind of dishes they have.

Ta-da!! Butter Chicken Curry 600 yen
The colorful vegetables on top of the turmeric rice look beautiful, and they really get your appetite going.
It has the rich aroma of butter, while the spices come through strongly and make it nice and spicy.
I broke a little sweat. The vegetables on the side refresh your palate♪
It’s not just curry. Assorted Appetizers 800 yen

This one is beautifully colorful too.
There are about 8 to 10 kinds of appetizers inside, perfect for nibbling on a little at a time♪ I’d recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy a variety of bites with a drink.
Here’s what was included:
・Homemade smoked bacon, new potatoes, and eggplant cream gratin
・Kibi Kogen chicken pâté de campagne
・Sake-steamed hamaguri clams
・Small eggplants pickled with wasabi
・Pink mashed potatoes
・Wakame, bean sprout, and white sesame namul
・Carrots dressed with yuzu vinegar, Sichuan pepper, and fresh shichimi
・Daikon and yuzu namasu
・Young chicken liver pâté
・Early Red onions marinated in oil
・New potatoes simmered in demi-glace sauce
When I counted them, there weren’t just 8 kinds, there were 11!!
I tried plating the curry and appetizers together like a one-plate meal😀
Just arranging it on a plate gives a meal at home a serious upgrade!! It makes you feel like you’re enjoying a little luxury, which is nice.
There are vegetables, fish, and meat too, so I’m happy that it’s well balanced.
