I used to think it must be pretty hard for yakiniku restaurants to offer takeout, but it seems more and more places have started selling yakiniku bento for takeout.
“Gyu-an,” well known for its all-you-can-eat yakiniku and shabu-shabu, has also started selling bento, so this time I went and picked up a yakiniku bento from “Gyu-an Shukugawa.”

“Gyu-an Shukugawa” Food
There are two types of bento, and this time I bought the “Beef Kalbi Yakiniku Bento” (780 yen).
This is the “Beef Kalbi Yakiniku Bento.”
It comes with salad in a separate container.

The bento includes beef kalbi, kimchi, rice, bibimbap, and salad.
Bibimbap is a dish with namul on top of rice, so basically it’s rice plus rice and namul.
I thought there might be too much rice, but that wasn’t the case at all.
The beef kalbi makes the rice go down so easily that even this amount almost feels like it isn’t enough.
You get plenty of meat and it’s very filling, so at 780 yen, I’d say it’s a pretty good deal.
