There is a stone monument like this on the north side of JR Nishinomiya Station.

This monument was built in 1953 by the Ashihara District Management Committee to honor the war dead of the Ashihara area.

The stone tablet next to the monument is engraved with the names of those from the Ashihara area who died in the war.
