“A hot spring!!!” I reported it to Shacho with the same level of excitement as when I found that waterfall!
There’s a hot spring. So we’re not losing to any cold wave.

Based on the info that it’s apparently surrounded by stones and a Google Maps search, this must be it!
And we found the shadows of all five of us!Five is the classic number for sentai heroes, so the shadows look kind of cool(*^^)v
We found a hot spring bubbling up beside the stones!
But it’s a little different from what we imagined…(~_~;)
A footbath! No, with five people, it feels like we could only manage a finger bathI’ve never heard that phrase before, though(⌒-⌒; )
This is the kind of footbath I wanted….(・_・;)Is it just me, or do those look like Sensei’s feet…
But if the temperature is really high, maybe we could dig outthough we didn’t bring any tools the area around it and make it close to that!

The investigation found that the river temperature was 8.2 degrees,
while the hot spring temperature was 18.5 degrees!Hmm, kind of borderline, but the difference is still a full 10 degrees!!!!
Long-legged Sensei stepped into the hot spring and the river at the same time to check the “bath temperature” for us(^O^)／He didn’t lose at rock-paper-scissors or anything; he volunteered. That’s our Sensei!
Is 18 degrees nice in the cold season…? Sensei, how is it?
It’s warmer than the river, but if you ask whether it feels like a hot spring, it’s more like a school pool on a cold day^^;

A gentleman out for a walk was watching us with curiosity, so

When we said that to the gentleman on his walk, he replied, “I’ve lived in Shukugawa for decades, but I’ve never heard of this! I’d love to touch it.”
He went down to the riverbank, dipped his hand in, and gave Mama’s signature exclamation: “It’s a hot spring!”
“Wow, I walk here every day, but I had no idea about this.”
