At present, the city apparently operates community farms at the four locations shown above.

When we contacted City Hall, they said Kamigaki Community Farm was not originally city-owned land, but land rented from a private owner. Since the land had to be returned, the farm was closed on 6/20. It’s a little sad, but since it had to be returned, there’s not much that can be done. As for the community farms, they’re currently all full, and applications are apparently accepted through an announcement in the March 25 issue of the city newsletter every year. If you’d like to rent a farm plot, try applying next March.
