A new mascot character has apparently been created for the Koshien Police Station!

Apparently, it’s pretty rare for an individual police station to have its own character!
Of course, the tiger character was inspired by nearby Koshien Stadium and the Hanshin Tigers.
By the way, the Hyogo Prefectural Police mascot is a stork ↓

This is Koshien Police Station.
The two of them were at the entrance of Koshien Police Station ↓

Koushi-kun and En-chan.
Their names aren’t just “Koshien” split in two, you know〜😅
They’re said to carry the meaning of “the exercise of justice by Koushi and the realization of a harmonious civic life through En.”
“We’ll be appearing in various places around the city to call attention to crime prevention, traffic accident prevention, and more, so please look out for us!”
That’s the message. →Koshien Police Station website
And going forward, they apparently hope to turn them into full-body costumes and have them appear together with the Hanshin Tigers mascot, “To-Lucky” 🐯

Feels like that could happen pretty soon!
We’re looking forward to it〜😊
By the way, Koushi-kun and En-chan’s current rank is “police officer”, and apparently, “if they become popular with citizens and do well in the future, they might even be promoted”! Good luck〜🔥
