It looks like “Cocokara Fine” will be opening on the former Kobe-ya site, which closed in October, along Route 171 in Murogawa-cho.

Here’s the map↓
The address is 15-16 Murogawa-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.

The site is completely surrounded by fencing, and demolition work on the former Kobe-ya building is underway.
The sign that used to be a local landmark was still there.

If you go around to the back, there’s an entrance and exit for construction vehicles.
On the opposite side, right behind the site, is “Cocokara Fine Hirota Store.”

It’s really right in front of it, so maybe this means the Hirota store is relocating? 🙄

Across the street is “Porsche Center Nishinomiya,” whose temporary store opened on the 1st of this month.

This side of Route 171 has Nishinomiya Central Gymnasium next door and leads toward Mondo-Yakujin Station.

If you go the other way, turning left takes you to Shiyakusho-mae Line, while turning right takes you to Hirota Sando-suji.
There’s also “Kansai Super Hirota Store” and “Sunny Side Nishinomiya Taisha Store”.
In closing
Since it’s quite a large site, there were probably a lot of people wondering what would be built there and looking forward to finding out.
We don’t know the details yet, but will the entire 2,000-square-meter space — about the size of eight tennis courts! — become a drugstore? Will it be merged with the Hirota store? We’ll let you know as soon as we find out more🙋
