Sakura Table’s Comforting Homemade Hamburger Steak Bento [Nishitsu Gourmet]

Introducing restaurants visited by Nishitsu’s gourmet writer in our “Nishitsu Gourmet” series.
This time, we went to a spot right near JR Sakura Shukugawa Station:

We bought a bento from the bento shop “サクラテーブル”!

This time, we had the “Hamburg Steak Bento (880 yen)”!

Inside, it comes with hamburg steak, potato salad, vegetables, and pork beans (you can choose your favorite side dish)♪

The hamburg steak sauce was maybe ketchup-based? It was mellow and tasty!

Everything was delicious, with a gentle, comforting flavor that reminded me of home cooking♡

▼You can get a larger serving of rice, or upgrade to a special bento for an extra 200 yen.

▼The side dishes included in the bentos can also be purchased individually.

There’s a cherry blossom viewing spot, the “Kasenshiki Ryokuchi” riverside green space, very close by, so bringing along bentos from サクラテーブル and enjoying them there sounds like a great idea!

It’s expected to get crowded during cherry blossom season, so making a reservation in advance is recommended (*＾∀゜)

The shop is easy to find: exit JR Sakura Shukugawa Station to the right and walk straight ahead.
